Cleaning
Periodically remove chips, dust and other waste material from the surface
of the power tool, especially from the inside of the lower guard with a
damp, soapy cloth. To avoid a malfunction of the motor, protect it from
contact with oil or water.
10. Service parts list
CAUTION:
Repair, modifi cation and inspection of Hitachi Power Tools must
be carried out by a Hitachi Authorized Service Center.
This Parts List will be helpful if presented with the tool to the
Hitachi Authorized Service Center when requesting repair or other
maintenance. In the operation and maintenance of power tools,
the safety regulations and standards prescribed in each country
must be observed.
MODIFICATIONS:
Hitachi Power Tools are constantly being improved and modifi ed to
incorporate the latest technological advancements.
Accordingly, some parts may be changed without prior notice.

SERVICE AND REPAIRS

All quality power tools will eventually require servicing or replacement
of parts because of wear from normal use. To assure that only authorized
replacement parts will be used and that the double insulation system will be
protected, all service (other than routine maintenance) must be performed by
an AUTHORIZED HITACHI POWER TOOL REPAIR CENTER ONLY.
NOTE:
