About This Chapter
The TND1PIU inputs -48 V DC power to the ATN 950B, or an EPS30-4815AF external AC
power supply system inputs 220 V AC power, and converts the AC power to the DC power, and
then outputs the DC power to the ATN 950B. Both DC and AC power supplies support 1+1 hot
backup.
2.1 Power Supply System Structure
When DC power supplies are directly input to the ATN 950B, the two PIU boards form 1+1 hot
backups. When the EPS30-4815AF external AC power supply system provides power supplies
to the ATN 950B, it converts two AC power supplies into two DC power supplies, and outputs
the two DC power supplies to the two PIU boards. The two DC power supplies form 1+1 hot
backups.
2.2 PIU - Power Interface Board
This section describes the TND1PIU, a power interface board, in terms of the overview,
functions, features, working principle, front panel, and technical specifications.
2.3 EPS30-4815AF External AC Power Supply System
This section describes the EPS30-4815AF external AC power supply system in terms of the
appearance, functions, front panel, and technical specifications.
