6.1

Cold water connection

f Seal the thread of the butterfly valve using hemp or Teflon
tape.
f Fit the butterfly valve, together with pipe collar and flat gas-
ket, to the cold water pipe.
f Seal the thread of the tap body using hemp or Teflon tape.
Only wall mounted cylinders above 30 l
f Screw the tap extension together with flat gasket to the tap
body.
f Seal the thread of the tap extension using hemp or Teflon
tape
All DHW cylinders
f Fit the tap body (with a tap extension if necessary), together
with a flat gasket, to the butterfly valve. Align the tap body
horizontally when doing so.

1 Cold water connection
2 Connection to tap body
3 DHW connection
f If necessary shorten the connection pipes to the required
length and deburr the cut edges.
f Loosen the union nuts of the compression fittings at the con-
nections on the tap body.
f Insert the connection pipes vertically through the union nuts
into the connections on the tap body.
f Screw the connection pipes loosely to the tap body using the
union nuts.
f Fit the hot water boiler.
