INSTALLATION
Initial start-up
Only small water heaters up to 15 l

If the supply pressure is too high, this can pressurise the
vented small water heater and result in leaks.
f Measure the flow rate.
f If the flow rate is too high, reduce it with the butter-
fly valve.
f Only spouts with aerators for non-pressurised taps
suitable for use with vented hot water boilers should
be used.
The maximum permissible flow rate must be adjusted with the
butterfly valve in accordance with the supply pressure and the
nominal capacity of the small water heater.

f Set the tap to "hot" and use a drip pan, measuring jug and a
stopwatch to measure the maximum flow rate when the tap
is fully open.

1 Butterfly valve adjusting screw
If the flow rate is too high
f Unscrew the cap from the butterfly valve.
f Using a screwdriver, turn the butterfly valve adjusting screw
clockwise to reduce the flow rate.
f Measure the flow rate again.
f Adjust the flow rate with the butterfly valve, until the meas-
ured flow rate corresponds at most to the maximum permis-
sible flow rate.
f Screw the cap onto the butterfly valve.
