16. Replace the plastic cover on the Crank axle (H1).
17. Put the Drive Belt (G) around the edge of the Drive Pulley (H).
Slowly turn the Drive Pulley and Flywheel (K), and carefully walk the
Drive Belt onto the Drive Pulley. Make sure the Drive Belt is aligned on
the Flywheel pulley and Drive Pulley.
Flywheel.
18. Reassembly is the reverse procedure.
NOTICE: Do not crimp any cables. Secure the Flywheel
Tensioners (D) at the position that you recorded in
step 7. Make sure the Flywheel (K) can turn easily.
Installation of the Crank Arms does not require the use of the crank
puller. Be sure the Crank Arms are connected at 180° from each other.
19. Add Loctite
272 (or equivalent) to the inner threads of the Crank Nut
®
(C). Do not apply the Loctite
272 to the Crank Shaft.
®
20. Install the Crank Nut onto the Crank Shaft, and fully tighten it.
21. Replace the threaded Cap (B) onto the Crank Arm.
22. Make sure that the Drive Belt tension is correct. Refer to the "Adjust
the Belt Tension" procedure.
23. Final Inspection
Inspect your machine to ensure that all hardware is tight and components
are properly assembled.
Do not use until the machine has been fully
assembled and inspected for correct performance
in accordance with the Owner's Manual.
