INSTRUCTION MANUAL
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION – The TBTS Test Button Component serves as the unit connector. The ILB2H CP HE SD HV will
initiate once both the TBTS until installation is complete and A.C. power is supplied to the unit.

CAUTION – This fixture provides more than one power supply output source. To reduce the risk of electrical
shock, disconnect both normal and emergency sources by turning off the A.C. branch circuit and by discon-
necting the TBTS Test Button Component before servicing.
CAUTION – This equipment provides reduced current levels when higher voltage loads are connected. Load

calibration is required to ensure proper operation (see page 4).

CAUTION – This is a sealed unit. Components are not replaceable. Replace the entire unit when necessary.

The ILB2H CP HE SD HV is for use with grounded LED luminaires listed to UL standards. Not for use in
heated air outlets or hazardous locations.
The ILB2H CP HE SD HV and A.C. driver must be on the same branch circuit.

Do not mount near gas or electric heaters.

The ILB2H CP HE SD HV should be mounted in locations and at heights where it will not readily be subjected
to tampering by unauthorized personnel.

Product output voltage varies according to wattage. Refer to Illustration 1 for output voltage per model.

The ILB2H CP HE SD HV is certified in the CA Title 20 Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System
(MAEDBS) as a small battery charger.

Suitable for use in damp locations.

For use in 0° C minimum, 55° C maximum ambient temperatures.

The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition, void
warranty, and result in non-compliance with UL specifications.
15.
Do not use this equipment for other than intended use.
16.
Install in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
17.
Lighting fixture manufacturers, electricians, and end-users need to ensure product system compatibility before
final installation. See addendum for compatibility and covered luminaire requirements.

    Refer to the appropriate wiring diagram below. Make sure all connections are in accordance with NEC and any other local requirements. The ILB2H CP HE SD HV is designed to interface with high voltage (non-class 2) LED Loads. See Illustration 1 for output voltage ratings per ILB2H model.

    A.C. power is present. The A.C. Driver operates the LED Module as intended. The ILB2H CP HE SD HV is in the standby charging mode. The TBTS will be lit providing a visual indication that the battery is being charged.

  • Page 4: Testing And Maintenance

    Load Calibration To ensure proper operation, Load Calibration is required whenever the LED load connected to the ILB2H CP HE SD HV is changed. Note: Load Calibration happens automatically 48 hours after the ILB2H CP HE SD HV is first installed. If after instal- lation, the connected LED load is changed, Load Calibration will need to be performed.

    Reportez-vous au diagramme de câblage approprié ci-dessous. Assurez-vous que toutes les connexions sont faites conformément aux exigences du NEC et aux exigences locales.     ÉTAPE 4 – CÂBLAGE DE L’ALIMENTATION SECTEUR L’ILB2H CP HE SD HV requiert une alimentation secteur sans interrupteur de 120/277 volts. Reliez le fil NOIR à la phase 120/277 et le fil BLANC au neutre. Attention: le boîtier doit être mis à la terre.

    Toute défaillance détectée pendant l’étalonnage de la charge sera indiquée sur le TBTS (voir Tableau A). Entretien Lorsque vous effectuez un entretien sur le ILB2H CP HE SD HV ou le luminaire d’urgence, le circuit de batterie ILB2H CP HE SD HV doit être complètement mis hors tension en suivant les étapes suivantes: 1) Débranchez l’alimentation c.a.l‘ILB2H CP HE SD HV passe en MODE D’URGENCE.
