The crossbar carrier is adjusted directly by the manufacturer, therefore
we do not recommend any re-adjustment or tightening of it!

Before each drive check all the pieces for proper position and fitting.
Check all screwed joints and other connections of the attachment pieces.
In case of need tighten the joints. Always check the screw connections,
other connections and fastening of the load after short period of your
drive. In case of need re-tighten the joints.
If the condition of the road is not very good, check the screwed joints in
shorter intervals. If the above instructions are not followed, the carrier or
attachment pieces might get lost - danger of injury.
After 2000 km let an authorized service check the torque of the screws in
the longitudinal carrier. Always let an authorized service deal with repairs
and replacement of any parts of the crossbar carrier. We recommend to
use genuine spare parts you receive at your dealer. At least once a year
grease the cylinder locks using recommended agent CONCOR 101. Mainte-
nance instructions - clean the crossbar carrier regularly and maintain as
advised. Especially in winter make sure to remove dirt and salt.
After fitting the crossbar carrier (or with attachment pieces) on the roof
of the car the total height of your car will change. Therefore be extremely
careful when driving into the garage, tunnel or underbridge.
If you transport bulk objects (e.g. ski boxes, bicycles, etc.), the roof is
exposed to more load due to strongly increased air resistance, therefore
adapt the speed of your drive to the specific conditions. If you transport
load, always follow the safety rules of respective country.
The manufacturer does not bear responsibility for any damages caused by
improper assembling.
