Child View Mirror
Dear customer!
Read this entire manual carefully before gluing the child view
mirror. In case of any questions, contact an authorised ŠKODA
AUTO dealer.
The child view mirror part number 000 072 549F is intended for
the SCALA (NW1), KAMIQ (NW4) vehicles with their "Mechanical
mirror without rain sensor and without multifunction camera" or
"Electric mirror with multifunction camera" trim.
Attention. The manual shows and describes the gluing
of a children's mirror (hereinafter referred to as
mirrors) to the ŠKODA SCALA, KAMIQ vehicle without a
multifunction camera (hereinafter as the MFC only).
When gluing the mirror to a vehicle with its MFC,
proceed in a similar way. The manual will notify you of
any fundamental differences in its setting.

Important installation instructions

To ensure the quality mirror gluing, it is important that the room
working temperature, vehicle temperature, and glued part tem-
perature are in the range of 18 - 30°C. Make sure no parts are not
exposed to any direct sunlight.

› Wash the windshield / MFC cover (intended for the mirror bracket
glueing) in the marked area with the mild solution of suitable de-
tergent and rinse it with clean water. Then, thoroughly degrease
it with a suitable cleaner, e.g., isopropyl alcohol (> 80%). Let it
ventilate for about 10 minutes.

Caution. It is forbidden to use heptane, acetone, and
technical gasoline to degrease the surface before
gluing.
Attention. Due to the differences in the driver's body
proportions and considerable variability in the vehicle
seat adjustment (seat length and height adjustment,
backrest tilt,...), consider the dimensions given in
Figures 3a, 3b as indicative only. Therefore, we
recommend (before gluing) testing the optimal
position of the child view mirror, for example, by gluing
it with a paper tape to verify that the child view
mirror:
> Does not collide with the inside mirror
> Does not obstruct the inside mirror use
> Does not obscure the driver's view through the inside
mirror behind the vehicle
