12. DETECTION AND TROUBLESHOOTING

Detection and troubleshooting
Procedures
Move the choke lever to the correct position
Fill the fuel tank with fuel
Clean the air fi lter
Tighten the spark plug to 25-30 Nm
Install the ignition cable to the spark plug
Install a new spark plug with the correct
gap between the electrodes
Contact the repair shop
Drain the fuel and clean the tank. Fill the
tank with fresh clean fuel
Clean or replace the fuel fi ller cap
Clean the air fi lter
Drain the fuel and clean the tank. Fill the
tank with fresh clean fuel
Clean or replace the fuel fi ller cap
Clean the air fi lter
Install a new spark plug with the correct
gap between the electrodes
Set the gap between the electrodes to
0.7 - 0.8 mm
