License Authentication

To use Windows Server 2016, you need finish the license authentication procedure.
Confirm if the license is authenticated or not in the next step.
3.6.1

Desktop Experience

1. Right-click the lower left of the screen, and click System from the menu displayed.
2. Check Windows license authentication.
When "Windows is activated." is displayed, you do not need to perform this procedure. The
authentication is complete.
When "Connect to the internet to activate Windows." is displayed, go to step 3.

Note
To activate Windows Server 2016, enter the Product Key written on the COA
(Certificate of Authenticity) label. The COA label of Windows Server 2016 is
attached to the operating system media package.
