8.5 Emporia keyboard
• Input languages: Choose whether you want
the selected system language to be the only
input language as well or specify manually which
languages should be activated as input methods.
If you choose to have more than one language
activated, you will then be able to switch between
your chosen languages when writing a message
by holding your finger down on the spacebar.
• The following general settings can be activated for
the Emporia keyboard.
• Auto-capitalisation
The first letter of every sentence will be
capitalised.
• Vibrate on keypress
The phone will vibrate every time a button on the
emporia keyboard is pressed.
• Sound on keypress
Every press of a button on the emporia keyboard
will be accompanied by a clicking sound.
• Pop-up on keypress
Every time a button on the keyboard is pressed,
the selected letter will be shown as a pop-up.

8.6 Display
Select settings for the screen such as Brightness,
Night light, Automatic brightness, Automatic
screen switch-off, Auto-rotate screen and Font
size, among many others.
8.7 Security settings
To prevent your phone from being misused by
other people, you can set a screen lock and a SIM
card lock here. You can also specify how your
phone will be protected when apps are installed.
Fingerprint function

When the fingerprint function is activated,
your smartphone can only be unlocked by you.
• Setting up the fingerprint function
1. Open Quick settings > More settings >
Fingerprint function.
2. Enter your screen lock PIN or set a PIN now.
3. Read the information on setting up the fingerprint
function and then select I agree.
4. Place a finger on the fingerprint sensor on the
on/off button and follow the instructions on the
screen.
5. Complete the fingerprint scanning process by
tapping on Finish.
You can scan in up to five fingerprints.
