5. INSTALLATION

Please consider the DIN 15560 and the respective national norms during the
installation! The installation must only be carried out by an authorized dealer!

expert before taking into operation for the first time and after changes before taking into operation another
time.

5.1 Rack installation
This SBM-32B Power Distributor is built for 19" racks / steel cabinets (483 mm). The rack you use should be
a double-door-rack where you can open the front panel and the rear panel. The rack should be provided with
a cooling fan. When mounting the SBM-32B Power Distributor into the rack, please make sure that there is
enough space around the device so that the heated air can be passed on. Steady overheating will damage
your device.
You can fix the SBM-32B Power Distributor with four M6 screws in the rack.
Be careful when mounting the SBM-32B Power Distributor into the rack. Put the heaviest devices into the
lower part of the rack.
