Service Diagnostics and Procedures
Control Panel Access
To gain access to the following components:
Electronic Ignition Switch, Ignition Module, and
Igniter, remove control panel.
To access control panel components:
1. Remove the control panel knobs.
2. Open drip tray and remove screws securing the
control panel to the landing ledge.

Remove the center bezel screw securing the
control panel to the manifold panel.

4. Lower the control panel onto drip tray.

5. Reverse procedure to reassemble.

Electronic Ignition Switch
The grill has an electronic ignition system. When
the ignition switch is pushed in, switch contacts
close and 9 VDC is supplied to the igniters via the
ignition module.
To access Ignition Switch:
1. Access control panel components (see Control
Panel Components Access section at left).
2. Locate ignition switch and remove nut securing
switch to control panel. Disconnect wiring.
3. Reverse procedure to reassemble.
Verify the switch reads open in the extended
position and 0
in the pressed position.
Note: Make sure to replace with a momentary
switch
