Service Diagnostics and Procedures
Control Panel Components Access
To gain access to the following components:
Electronic Ignition Switch, Ignition Module, Igniter,
Infrared Igniter and Rotisserie Igniter remove
control panel.
To access control panel components:
1. Remove the control panel knobs.
2. Remove the four screws securing the control
panel to the landing ledge.

Remove the two center bezel screws securing
the control panel to the manifold panel. Screw
location may differ per model.

4. Lower the control panel.
5. Reverse to reassemble.

Screws
Light Switch
The E-Series grills have interior halogen canopy
lights and are activated by a light switch. When
the switch is pressed the switch contacts close and
when the switch is in the off position the contacts
are open.
To access Light Switch:
1. Access control panel components
(see Control Panel Components Access section).
Locate light switch.
2. R emove nut securing switch to control panel,
and disconnect wiring.

3. Reverse procedure to reassemble.
Verify the switch reads open in the extended
position and 0
in the pressed position.
