To activate opening or closing with a foot move-
ment on a car equipped with skid plate, the kick-
ing motion is made from the side of the car. One
of the car's remote control keys must be within
range (approx. 1 metre (3 feet)) for opening and
closing to be possible.

Private locking
The tailgate and glovebox can be locked with the
private locking function which prevents them
from being opened, e.g. when the car is taken in
for service, left at a hotel or similar.
