Maintenance
To prolong the service life of the Com-
mercial Dishwasher, it should be ser-
viced at least once a year by Miele
Technical Service.
Maintenance covers the following:
- Electrical safety according to national
regulations
- Door mechanism and door seal
- Any screw connections and connec-
tors in the wash cabinet
- Water inlet and drainage
- Internal and external dispensing sys-
tems
- Spray arms
- Filter combination
- Sump including drain pump and non-
return valve
- All baskets and inserts
The following operational tests will be
carried out as part of the maintenance:
- A program will be run as a test run
- Seals will be tested for water tight-
ness
- All relevant measuring systems will
be safety tested, including fault dis-
plays
- Safety features
Check the condition of your dish-
washer regularly (approx. every 4 – 6
months). This way, faults and prob-
lems can be avoided.
Cleaning and care
All surfaces of this machine are
susceptible to scratching.
Contact with unsuitable cleaning
agents can alter or discolor all sur-
faces.
Cleaning the wash chamber
The wash chamber is largely self-clean-
ing, provided that the correct amount of
detergent is always used.
If, despite this, limescale or grease de-
posits build up in the chamber, these
can be removed with a proprietary dish-
washer cleaner (available from Miele).
Follow the dosage recommended by
the manufacturer on the packaging.
Clean the filters in the wash chamber
regularly.
