1.4 Standard Faceplate Connections

The functions of the standard connectors on the SMx
follows:
GNSS
USB-C
Ethernet

1.4.1 Power Connector: 4-pin PT07

Pin
A Main Power Input; 9.5– 24VDC
B Battery Power Input; 11 – 20VDC
Primary power is supplied to the SMx
separate ground connection can be attached to the quick-disconnect spade attached to
the power connector.
CAUTION
NOTE: The internal battery, when installed, is only charged when Power A is
above 14VDC. It is not charged from Pin B. An external battery on Pin B
can also be charged when Power A is above 14VDC.
