GETTING STARTED MOUNTING THE MONITOR CONNECTING TO A CAMERA OR OUTPUT SOURCE The SkyVision monitor has a 1/4-20 socket for mounting onto a ball HDMI head, accessory arm, or tripod. Connect the monitor’s HDMI input to a camera or other source with an HDMI output.

CLOSING AND HIDING THE MENUS AND STATUS ICONS To close an open menu, tap on its highlighted icon at the bottom of the screen. To hide the status icons at the top of the screen, and the menu icons at the bottom of the screen, tap on an empty part of the screen. Tap on the screen again to make the icons reappear.
RESETTING WCM-55-HD To erase all settings and return to the factory presets, follow these steps: 1. Open the Main Menu. 2. Select System. 3. In the System menu, select Factory Reset to open the reset menu, and press the Yes prompt on the next page. 4.
MAIN MENU DISPLAY FUNCTION Brightness Selects the function for the F1, F2, and F3 buttons. Functions Adjusts the monitor’s brightness value from 0%–100%. The default buttons provide shortcuts to the most frequently used functions. setting is 50%. Once a function is selected for a button, pressing the function button toggles the function on and off.

Wireless Mode Select between Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) modes. Important! Switching between TX and RX modes requires a complete reboot of the SkyVision monitor.
INPUT SOURCE MENU INPUT Select the input source that will be displayed onscreen. Sets the TX and RX channel from 0 to 12. HDMI is the only source option in Transmitter mode. The default setting in channel 0. HDMI and Wireless are the source options in Receiver mode. WIRELESS In Receiver (RX) Mode, the SkyVision monitor can connect only to a SkyVision monitor operating in Transmitter (TX) mode.
SCOPES MENU WAVEFORM Places a waveform graph onscreen that allows you to see the luminance of your image. RGB PARADE Places an RGB Parade graph onscreen that displays the luminance value of each color. HISTOGRAM Places a histogram meter onscreen to indicate the overall level of exposure from light to dark.
MARKER MENU MARKER Touch the marker slider to place an aspect marker overlay onscreen. Choose 16:9, 15:9, 13:9, or 4:3, or enter a custom ratio by selecting User from the menu. Note: The top edge of the marker might be obscured by the status icons and menus.
FOCUSING TOOLS MENU PEAKING Tap the Peaking slider to turn on the peaking feature. Peaking adds a color outline to high-contrast areas of the image, highlighting areas that are in focus. Select the color of the peaking feature, and use the slider to adjust the outline intensity from 0% to 100%.
EXPOSURE TOOLS MENU ZEBRA Tap the Zebra pattern slider to display animated black and white stripes through areas of the image that are overexposed. Adjust the maximum and minimum exposure values. The default value for Maximum is set to 100%, and Minimum is set to 85%. FALSE COLOR Tap the False Color slider to replace the true colors of the image with a standard set of colors that represent exposure levels.
IMAGE ADJUST MENU 3D-LUT Tap the LUT slider to activate the LUT selection. Note: Applied LUTs will not be sent downstream on the HDMI output. Touch the Preset button to select one of the preinstalled LUTs, and press Confirm. Select V-Log.cube, S-Log3.cube, S-Log2.cube, REDlogfilm.cube, REDLog.cube, Log-C.cube, Log-3G10.cube, or C-log.cube.
RECORDING/ PLAYBACK MENU RECORDING Start/Stop User: Select User, and tap on Recording. A record button will appear onscreen, and you can manually start and stop recording. Trigger: Select Trigger when the camera sends record start and stop trigger over HDMI. The camera will trigger the recording. Timecode: Select Timecode when the camera sends record start and stop trigger via timecode.
