3.4 Chassis Components

Storage

The SC121 supports up to 36 hot-swappable NF1 SSD drives. These drives can be removed
without powering down the system. Only NF1 SSD drives qualified by Supermicro are
recommended. The NF1 SSD drives may be installed and removed easily from the chassis:
The SC121NF supports up to thirty-

six (36) NF1 SSD drives which are
accessible from the front of the chassis.
The NF1 SSD drives are installed on
drive trays that can be easily removed

and/or replaced by unlocking the tray's
using a lever, as shown.

Note: Enterprise level hard disk drives are recommended for use in Supermicro chassis and
