Preparation

Ejecting the tape when the Hand Grip is attached

1. Turn the Grip Cover down.
2. Press the holder lever down to release the holder.
3. Stand the screw lever for the unlocking, and loose the
screw a little.
4. Turn the camcorder in the direction of the arrow.
5. Slide the TAPE EJECT switch and open the cassette door.

Using the Neck Strap

For extra security and portability, attach the Neck Strap
before using the camcorder.
Be sure to test the strap to check that it is properly attached
before using it to carry the camcorder.
Attaching the Lens Cover
Attaching the Ring Hood
Since the ring hood cuts stray light that may cause flare
and ghost images and protects the lens,
be sure to attach the hood when you are recording.
Make sure attach the hood to the camcorder horizontally.
