Hotplate controls
You can use the four hotplate controls to control the heat
output provided by each hotplate.

When you switch on a hotplate, the indicator lamp lights up.
Residual heat indicator
The hob has a residual heat indicator for each hotplate. It
shows which hotplates are still hot. Even if the hob is switched
off, the display remains lit until the hotplate has cooled down
sufficiently.
You can save energy by using the residual heat to keep a small
dish warm, for example.

The oven

Use the function selector and the temperature selector to set
the oven.

Use the function selector to select the required type of heating.
The function selector knob can be rotated to the right or to the
left.

Meaning
The hotplate is switched off.
1 = lowest output
9 = highest output
Switches on the large dual-circuit
hotplate
Function
The oven is switched off.
For cakes, soufflés and lean joints
of meat, e.g. beef or game on one
level. Heat is emitted evenly from
the top and bottom.
For tarts and cakes from level 1 to
level 3. A fan with a ring heating
element on the back panel of the
oven ensures that the heated air is
distributed evenly.
For quickly preparing frozen meals
without preheating, e.g. pizza,
chips or strudel. The lower heat-
ing elements as well as the round
heating elements on the rear panel
must be heated up.
For preserving, final baking or
browning. The heat comes from
below.
For grilling meat, poultry and
whole fish. The grill element and
fan switch on and off alternately.
The fan distributes the heated air
around the food.
For grilling steak, sausages, bread
and fish. The whole area below the
grill heating element becomes hot.
For grilled chicken, duck and large
joint pieces. The whole area below
the grill heating element becomes
hot. After being inserted, the rotary
spiting is turned by the motor on
the rear panel.

Grill settings
While the oven is heating up, the

The cooking compartment

The oven light is located in the cooking compartment. A cooling
fan protects the oven from overheating.

During operation, the oven light in the cooking compartment is
on.
Cooling fan
The cooling fan switches on and off as required. The hot air
escapes above the door.
So that the cooking compartment cools down more quickly
after operation, the cooling fan continues to run for a certain
period afterwards.
Caution!
do not cover the ventilation slots. Otherwise the oven will
overheat.

tarts. The fan distributes the
