Adjustment of the Tab Length of Z-fold

<Use Case>
• When replacing the Paper Folding Unit Controller PCB/clearing the RAM data of the Paper Folding Unit Controller PCB.
• When replacing the Pushing Plate HP Sensor (PS2).
• When replacing the Post-fold Sensor (PS6).
• When replacing the Upper Cover Unit.

• Standard Value: Tab length [A]=4.5 ± 1.0 mm or less
<Procedure of adjustment>
NOTE:
After the setting value is changed, write the changed value in the service label.
1. Perform test print of the Z-fold and check whether the Tab length [A] is within the standard. If it is not within the
range, adjust according to the following procedure.
2. Execute the adjustment of the Tab length [A] of the Z-fold in the following service mode.
• Adjustment of the tab length of Z-fold
SORTER> ADJUST> PF-T-EDG
Adjustment range: -20 to 20 (1 unit=0.1mm)
As the value is incremented by 1, the Tab length moves by 0.1mm.
