Removing the Paper Folding Unit Controller PCB

■ Handling before Parts Replacement
● When backup operation is possible
1. Before replacing the Paper Folding Unit Controller PCB, store the adjustment values to the host machine from the
service mode of the host machine.
• Controller PCB backup data read:
SORTER > FUNCTION > FLD-BK-R
2. Turn OFF the main power switch.
● When backup operation is impossible
1. Before replacing the Paper Folding Unit Controller PCB, output P-PRINT in the service mode of the host machine.
• COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > P-PRINT
2. Turn OFF the main power switch.
■ Preparation
1. Remove the Rear Cover."Removing the Rear Cover" on page 45
■ Procedure
1. Remove the Paper Folding Unit Controller PCB [1].
• 5 Connectors [2]
• 3 Screws [3]
• 1 Locking Support [4]
■ Handling after Parts Replacement
1. Turn ON the main power switch.
