2.3.30 Timed Reminder Setting (DPT Integration Only)

Description
Allows a subscriber to set a Timed Reminder by following system prompts provided by the VPS. Timed
Reminder is a PBX feature that is similar to an alarm clock; the telephone will ring at the set time (once or daily)
as set by the subscriber or message manager.
A special dial tone or prerecorded message will be heard by the subscriber when going off-hook to answer the
Timed Reminder.
Conditions
•
The time format (12 or 24 hour) used when setting the Timed Reminder is determined by the following
settings:
–
When setting via VM Menu feature: the time format is determined by the system clock (see "System
Date/Time" in 2.5.4.1 Time Setting in the Programming Manual).
–
When setting via System Guidance: the time format is determined by the setting of "Position of "AM/
PM" in Time Stamp" (see 2.5.4.4 System Guidance in the Programming Manual).

A subscriber must have his or her own extension in order to use this feature.
•
Extensions assigned as operators can be called by dialing [0], however, when setting this feature the
extension number (not "0") must be specified.
•
This feature is only available when the VPS is connected using DPT integration to a KX-TDE series PBX
or a KX-TDA/KX-TAW series PBX (MPR Version 2.0 or higher).

Description
Allows a subscriber to check his or her mailbox from preprogrammed Caller ID numbers, DID number or the
telephone number specified to the preprogrammed trunk (CO line) number without incurring telephone
charges.
Conditions
•
DID number setting for this feature is only available for the following PBXs using DPT Integration.

KX-TD500 (V4M or higher)
