Maintenance
The machine should be serviced every 2,000 hours of operation, or
at least once a year, by Miele Technical Service.
Maintenance covers the following points and functional checks:
- electrical safety check compliant with national rules and regulations
(e.g., VDE 0701, VDE 0702)
- door mechanism and door seal
- any screw connections and connectors inside the wash cabinet
- water inlet and drainage
- internal and external dispensing systems
- spray arms
- filter combination
- sump including drain pump and drain valve
- wash mechanism/wash pressure
- all mobile units, modules, and inserts (charged separately)
- visual inspection and functional check of components
- a thermo-electric check
- leak test on seals
- safety testing of all relevant measuring systems
- safety features
Where applicable:
- Steam condenser
- Drying unit
- conductivity monitoring
- built-in printer
External documentation software and computer networks are not
tested by Miele Service.
