Superimpose Tab

Select whether or not to superimpose the custom string
and the character date & time on the image.
You can set the superimpose on/off, font sizes, and
display items to display for Image 1, Image 2, and
Image 3 separately in this camera.
Notes
• For setting the superimposing, set Image size1 in the
Video codec tab of the Video / Audio menu to the
maximum rate.
• Deselect the checkbox of Stabilizer in the Installation
tab of the System menu. After setting superimpose, set
the Stabilizer function again.
Preview screen
Preview the image, and adjust the superimposed image.
You can move the position of superimposed image
displayed on the preview screen by drag and drop.
Image
Select the video codec mode to set for the superimposed
image.
The setting for the superimposed image is available if
you select the checkbox next to the list box.
For details about the video codec mode, see the Video
codec tab in the Video / Audio menu.
Position
Select the number of the display position or logo, on the
preview screen. When Logo is selected, the logo file
setting is displayed.
Note
Permissible logo file specifications;
File format: PNG8 with alpha channel
Image size: 640 × 120 or smaller (Image 1, Image 2)
160 × 120 or smaller (Image 3)
Width (pixels): multiples of 16
When display position number 1, 2 or 3 is selected, the
following setting menus appear.

Setting the Camera Image and Audio — Video / Audio Menu
Type
Set the type of display information to Text, Date &
time, Event, Codec, Camera direction, Zoom ratio 1,
and Zoom ratio 2.
Text: Displays the custom string.
Date & time: Displays the date and time.
Event: Displays the event alarm information.
Codec: Displays the video codec information.
Zoom ratio 1: Displays the optical zoom ratio and the
digital zoom ratio.
Zoom ratio 2: Displays the zoom ratio that is multiplied
for the optical zoom ratio and the digital zoom ratio.
Camera direction: Displays the information of camera
direction.
When you set the preset position and/or operate the pan/
tilt/zoom, the display is refreshed. When Camera
direction is selected in Type, the information to be
displayed is Preset, Area title, and Azimuth.
It is enabled when each checkbox is selected.
Click OK to enable the setting.
The display is given priority in order of Preset position,
Area title, Azimuth.
Preset position
Select the Preset position tab to display the preset
positions and names currently set on the setting screen.
The preset name is set in the Preset position tab of the
PTZF control menu.
When you select the preset name from the Preset list and
click the Call button, the camera moves to the set preset
position and the preset name is displayed.
Area title
Select the Area title tab to display the setting menu of
the area title name to be displayed.
In the Area title, an area of camera direction can be set.
When the camera is directed to the set area, the area title
name is displayed.
You can set 64 positions for the area title, and the area
titles are displayed for the numbers that "Enable" is
checked.
