If we want to open the "Web Player" in a different tab of the browser, to keep it open even if we close the session, press the
CTRL key while clicking on the menu with the mouse.
You can also create a shortcut to the "Web Player" on our desktop. To do this, on the Windows desktop, press the right mouse
button and select "New Shortcut". When you ask for the location of the item, you have to give the web address of the
computer, port 8080, that is, something of the type:
Normally, the "Web Player" is disabled and is only activated when launched from the computer's web page.
If we want the web player to be always active, without having to enter the website, we must configure it in the SETTINGS
menu, "Player" option, activating the "Web Player" box always activated.
In the "Web Player" menu, we see the following options:
QUEUE: List of files waiting to be played in the player of the computer.
FILES AND LISTS: Se show the music files available on your computer and then the available playlists.
NEW STREAM: Allows you to add a stream of internet music, such as a radio or a stream generated from a PC with the
VLC program.
ABOUT: Information and credits about the web player.
Selecting COLA from the menu (it is the option selected when starting the "Web Player"), allows us to interact with the
running player and the current playlist.
Double-clicking with the mouse on a song happens to play.
At the top is the playback control, with the following controls:
Previous song from the list.
Stop playback.
Pause playback.
Resume playback.
Next track on the list.
Volume control.
Control to filter songs from the list.
