Description: Version information.

arp
Syntax: arp [ <cable|ether> <IP address> | <purge> [IP address] ]
Description: Display arp table of all interfaces if there is no parameter. If the interface (ether or
cable) is specified, the target host ip is arped and IP to MAC mapping is displayed. ex. Arp
<[ether|cable]> <IP>.
To clear all arp entry, use "arp purge". To clear specified IP entry, use "arp purge IP".
bloader
Syntax: bloader
Description: Display boot loader information.
bpiset
Syntax: bpiset [<IP_address> <CA_file>]
Description: Show/Set CA file. ex. Show: bpiset; Set: bpiset <IP_address> <CA_file> The set
function should be used only by the manufacturer. The wrong CA will cause the CM to fail
registration.
bootfrom
Syntax: bootfrom [1|2]
Description: Show/Set Bootfrom image section. ex. Show: bootfrom; Set: bootfrom <1|2>.
dload
Syntax: dload <IP_address> <Upgrade_filename>
Description: Download upgrade file. ex. dload <IP_address> <Upgrade_filename> This
command is also recommended to be used only by manufacturer's RD.
debug
Syntax: debug [0..12]
Description: Show/Set debug level. ex. Show: debug; Set: debug <0|1|2>. This command would
set the CM to different debug mode to display different level of debug messages. "2" would
display all messages.
goto
Syntax: goto <freq> <channel ID>
Description: Tune to downstream <freq>(Mhz) & upstream channel <ID>. ex. goto <freq>
<upstream ID>
monitorphy
Syntax: monitorphy <0|1>
Description: Start/Stop PHY monitoring. ex. monitor <1|0>. It would affect traffic. For testing
purpose only.
ping
Syntax: ping <Dest IP> [packet size] [repeat count>]
Description: Sends ICMP request to the specified destination. ex. ping <TargetIP/DomainNmae>
[count]. The default package size is 64 and the default rpeat count is 4.
