Electrical system

Basic electric items are:
two halogen bulb (over and under) headlight:
low beam type: HB3 (12V-60W).
high beam type: HB3 (12V-60W)
parking light:
bulb type: W5W (12V-5W).

Electrical controls on handlebars:
rear turn indicators:
bulbs type: R10W (12V-10W).
front turn indicators:
bulbs type: RW16W (12V-16W).
Horn.
Stop light switches.
Battery, 12V-10 Ah.
Generator 12V-480W.
Electronic voltage regulator, protected by 40A fuse
located at the side of the battery.
Starter motor, 12V-0.7 kW.
Taillight and stop light:
bulb type: P21/5W (12V-5/21W).
Number plate light:
bulb type: W5W (12-5W).

Fuses
The main fuse box (1, fig. 83) is located between headlight
mount and headlight fairing. To expose the fuses, take off
the box protective cover. Mounting position and ampere
capacity are marked on it.
Two fuses (2, fig. 84) located at the side of the battery protect
the relay of the injection system and engine control unit.
The fuse (3) protects the electronic regulator. Remove the
protective cap to expose the fuses.
A blown fuse is identified by the interrupted inner filament
(4, fig. 85).
Important
Switch the ignition key to OFF before replacing the
fuse to avoid possible short circuits.
Warning
Never use a fuse with a rating other than specified.
Failure to observe this rule may damage the electric
system or even lead to fire.
