Setting procedure <Setting the FAX (circuit 1)>
A. Setting the FAX
1. Plug the power cord into the power outlet and turn ON the power switch.
2. Display the Service Mode screen.
3. Touch "System 2."
4. Touch "Option Board Status."
5. Touch "Set" of FAX (circuit 1).
6. Touch "END" and touch "Exit."
7. Turn OFF and ON the power switch.
When displayed the Service Mode screen, be sure to turn off the power after exiting the
Service Mode screen and wait for 10 seconds or more before turning on.
8. Touch "System 1."
9. Touch "Marketing Area."
10. Touch "Fax Target."
11. Use the [-] or [+] key to select the Target Area (Refer to the list below).

Belgium
Austria
Norway
Sweden
Finland

Spain
Portugal
Italy
NOTE
• Set OT for countries other than the ones listed above.
* Select the appropriate country code according to the dial system used in the installation
place. For DTMF, select "EU," and for dial pulse, select "each destination country code."
12. Touch "END" twice.
13. Touch "FAX."
14. Touch "Initialization."
15. Touch "Fax Function Parameter" and "Communication Journal Data."
16. Touch "Yes."
17. Touch "Yes."
18. Touch "END."
19. Touch "Exit" on the Service Mode screen.
