1. Remove the right-side cover.
2. Remove the front cover.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the data cable from the optical drive.
2. Disconnect the power cable from the optical drive.
3. Remove the screw (M3x5) that secures the optical drive to the chassis.
4. Push to slide the optical drive out through the front of the computer.
