Detach the cable (3) from the top cover with keyboard. (The cable is attached with double-sided
adhesive.)
To install the top-cover camera-board cable, reverse this procedure.

Top-cover camera board
NOTE:
The top-cover camera-board cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number
M03431-001. The top-cover camera board bracket is included in the Bracket Kit, spare part number
M03436-001. The top-cover camera board thermal shield is included in the Plastics Kit, spare part
number N39195-001.
Before removing the top-cover camera board, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Remove the top-cover camera board:
1.
Release the ZIF connector (1) the top-cover camera cable is connected to, and then disconnect the
cable from the board.

Release the ZIF connector (2) the system board cable is connected to, and then disconnect the
cable from the board.
3.
Remove the M2.0 × 2.0 screw (3) that secures the board to the computer.
