INSPECTION BEFORE DEPARTURE

CHECKLIST

It is the owner's sole responsibility to keep the vehicle in optimum condition. The driver must check the vehicle

through simple but thorough inspections to ensure optimum vehicle condition. Before each journey, some
important parts must be inspected quickly to avoid serious vehicle malfunctions that could lead to serious
accidents.
NOTE
A short inspection should be carried out before each ride. This only takes a short moment and is for your
own safety.
WARNING
If any component of the vehicle is found to be faulty during inspection, have the vehicle repaired by an
authorised dealer. In the event of negligence on the part of the vehicle owner, such as lack of care and
maintenance, operation of the vehicle with defective or improperly maintained parts, the manufacturer will
not accept any warranty.

When you apply the brake, the brake lever should not touch the handlebar.
The brake system must operate at a constant pressure. If the required braking force is only
achieved after pulling the brake lever several times, contact an authorised dealer to have
the brake system checked.
Check the brake lines for fluid leaks.
Check the brake pads. If the brake pads are only 1 mm thick at any point, replace them.
Check if the wheels are running properly.
Check if the tyres are damaged and if the tread depth is sufficient.
Check tyre pressure and correct if necessary
Check that the throttle grip operates normally and turns smoothly without jamming. Check
that the return position is normal.
Check the operating status. When the vehicle is switched on and the throttle grip is
operated, the side stand must be folded in.
Make sure that all visible nuts and bolts are properly tightened. Retighten if necessary.
Check the function of the shock absorbers by compressing them several times. Also check
the front and rear shock absorbers for leaks and dirt.
Apply the front brakes and push down on the handlebars several times to check that the front
shock absorbers are working properly. Press down hard on the seat several times to check
if the rear shock absorber is working properly.
Check that all lights on the display and on the vehicle are working properly. This is
especially important to be visible to other road users.
Make sure that the battery is always fully charged before use.
Check that there are no faults and, if necessary, lubricate the pivot point of the steering.
