► System Memory ► Installing the DIMM Module
Please follow the steps below to install the memory card into the socket.
Step 1:
Press the eject tabs at both ends of the socket outward and downward to release them from the
locked position.
Step 2:
Insert the memory card into the slot while making sure the notch and the key are aligned. Press
the card down firmly with fingers while applying and maintaining even pressure on both ends.
Step 3: Eject Tab Eject Tab
The tabs snap automatically to the edges of the card and lock the card in place.

Removing the DIMM Module

Please follow the steps below to remove the memory card from the socket.
Step 1:
Press the eject tabs at both ends of the socket outward and downward to release them from the
locked position.
Step 2:
The memory card ejects from the slot automatically.
Step 3:
Hold the card by its edges and remove it from the slot.
