    The welding current and welding voltage are measured and the collected data is sent to the WeldCloud™ cloud via Wi-Fi and the local network. To install WeldCloud™ Universal Connector, access to WeldCloud™ web service is required.

    Downloading and installing the WeldCloud Link application Download the latest software version of the Android application WeldCloud Link from the Google Play store. The WeldCloud Link application is found in the Google Play store, scan the QR-code below. Install the WeldCloud Link application on the preferred Android device.

    Connecting the WeldCloud™ Universal Connector to a local Wi-Fi network and to WeldCloud Cloud Platform 1. Create a site in WeldCloud or make sure there is an existing site that can be accessed by your account. See XXX. 2. In WeldCloud Link, click the menu button in the top left corner to open the menu.

    Login to WeldCloud and go to WeldCloud Fleet. In the left-hand menu, go to Operator management and Operators. Click Add operator and add any WeldCloud user as an Operator or invite a new user using their email. In the left-hand menu, go to Operator management and Groups.

    To clear all user data, configurations from the Universal connector and to reset the Welding unit password, a Factory reset can be performed. Connect to the Universal Connector with WeldCloud Link. Go to Welding Unit Setup in the left-hand menu. Click FACTORY RESET.

    If the mobile application is connected, the system will be on for 20 minutes. If the system was started using the push-button, the system will also be on for 20 minutes The WeldCloud™ Universal Connector can always be turned on or off manually by the push-button on the electronics box.     • The amount of information entered into the system prior to welding After each weld, the data is automatically sent to WeldCloud™. If the connection to the cloud is lost, the data is internally stored in WeldCloud™ Universal Connector. More than 10,000 weld seams of 10 seconds can be stored.
  • Page 22 Continuous switching on of the Universal Connector even without welding current. • Incorrect current and voltage displays on the mobile device. • Potentially short seams in the WeldCloud with wrong values. • Battery discharge. To identify test voltage: Connect the Universal Connector to the power source.

    The accuracy of the external sensor is recommended to be validated periodically. The validation can be coordinated with the user's validation of welding equipment in general. If accuracy is found to be out of tolerance, contact an authorized ESAB distributor or service centre for further assistance.
