Selecting the TV Screen Setting

Depending on the type of television you have, you may want
to adjust the screen setting (aspect ratio).
1. In stop mode, press MENU on the remote.
2. Use the up and down MOVE arrows to highlight
"TV Screen" and press OK.
Select a screen setting that matches your TV
3. Use the up and down MOVE arrows to highlight a
screen setting.
(Standard TV)
Select this for conventional size TVs. The aspect ratio is
selected according to the disc played. If the DVD is
recorded in letterbox mode (widescreen) , black bars will
appear at the top and bottom of the screen.
(Widescreen TV)
Select this for wide-screen televisions. If the DVD is
recorded in 4:3, the left and right side of the screen will
appear black.
4. Press OK.
