The DLT-S4 library tape drive interface enables you to update the
firmware with a new version, or image via media update.
Follow these steps.
Ensure that the tape drive contains no cartridge.

2 CODE UPDATE REQUEST
Send the library
3 ATTENTION
Status field of the returned General Status Packet to verify the tape
drive is in the Ready for Code Update (0x09) state.
Load the cartridge containing the new firmware into the tape drive.

Status field of the returned General Status Packet to verify the
cartridge is loading (0x07).
Send the library
6 ATTENTION
Status field of the returned General Status Packet to verify the
cartridge is in the CUP in Progress (0x0A) state.
It takes about 1 minute to enter the CUP in Progress (0x0A)
