5.13.2 Shielding the connections
For the burner to operate correctly, where re-
quired, it is necessary to shield the connections.
WARNING
To shield the motor connection, proceed as follows:
to access the motor casing, loosen the four screws
1)(Fig. 26) and remove the cover 2);
remove the shielded coupling 3) screwed to the motor cas-
ing.
To make the correct shielding, it is important to
bear in mind the necessary length of the connec-
tions inside the motor casing.
CAUTION
Shield the cable 4) running from the VSD (inverter), as
shown in Fig. 27 and using the coupling 6);
install the cable 4) with its relative coupling on the motor cas-
ing, fixing it carefully in place with the ring nut 5)(Fig. 26);
carry out the motor connection as shown in the wiring dia-
grams;
fix the grommets/cable terminals of the connections securely
and tidily to the terminal board of the motor;
make a final visual check, then close the motor casing by
tightening the 4 screws 1)(Fig. 26).
5.13.3 Motor rotation
As the burner is not fitted with a phase sequence checking de-
vice, the motor rotation may be incorrect.
As soon as the burner starts up, go in front of the
fan motor cooling fan and check it is rotating anti-
clockwise (Fig. 28).
WARNING
If this is not the case:
turn the burner switch to position "0" (OFF) and wait for the
control box to carry out the switch-off phase;
disconnect the power supply to the main panel;
invert the phases on the three-phase power supply.
This operation must be carried out with the electri-
cal supply disconnected.
