Setting Daylight Savings

1. Press MENU to display the VCR MAIN MENU.
2. Press 3 to display the TIME menu.
3. Press 4 to display the SET DAYLIGHT SAVINGS menu.
4. Select one of the options.
• DST stands for Daylight Savings Time.
• If you choose Automatic, the VCR sets the clock using the DST
information broadcast in the signal (channel).

Spring forward; Fall backward
In the Spring, Daylight-Savings begins
on the first Sunday in April. Because
the clock automatically changes from
2 a.m. to 3 a.m. (forward one hour),
remember to include the extra hour
for timer recordings falling within this
time frame.
In the Autumn, Daylight-Savings ends
on the last Sunday in October
VCR clock automatically changes
from 2 a.m. to 1 a.m. (back one hour).
Therefore, it can affect your recording
length.
