What do I do if the headset isn't receiving system updates?
Follow the steps in
Installing system and firmware updates
system updates.
For the headset to receive system updates, it must be set to the current date and time.
1.
Connect your headset to a wireless network. To find out how, see
network
on page 53.
2.
Go to Settings General and select Date & Time.
3.
Turn on Use network-provided time.
4.
Check for system updates again.
If your headset still isn't receiving system updates, contact support for assistance.
What's the VIVE XR Elite beta program and how do I join?
The beta program provides early access to upcoming features for VIVE XR Elite. When you join
the program you'll get to test new or experimental features and help HTC make VIVE XR Elite
better by providing your feedback.
Before joining the beta program, please take note of the following:
§ After joining the program, you'll receive beta software as a system update as soon as it
becomes available.
§ You can quit the beta program at any time. The system software will be rolled back to an
officially released version.
§ Switching to beta or rolling back to the official software version will erase all internal
storage data, including personal files and system settings. Make sure to back up your files
—such as screenshots and screen recordings—before installing the beta or official
software version.
How do I join the beta program?
1.
Register your headset with the VIVE XR Elite beta program.
To register, contact us at

§ Your full name
§ Your email address
§ Your device's serial number (see
page 71)
You'll receive an email confirming that you've been enrolled in the beta program.
2.
Put on your headset.
3.
From Home, select Settings.
