Fault
The lawn mower
stops during opera‐
tion.
The lawn mower vib‐
rates excessively
during operation.
The grass has not
been cut cleanly or
the lawn is yellow.

Cause
The circuit breaker (fuse) or the resi‐
dual current device tripped. The circuit
is electrically overloaded or defective.
The fuse protection of the socket is too
low.
The cross section of the extension
cable is incorrect.
The extension cable is too long.
The engine is overheated.
The resistance at the blade is too
great.
The area around the blade is blocked. ► Clean the lawn mower,
GB country-specific version: The fuse
in the plug is faulty.
The plug or extension cable connector
are no longer plugged in.
The circuit breaker (fuse) or the resi‐
dual current device tripped. The circuit
is electrically overloaded or defective.
The fuse protection of the socket is too
low.
The overload protection has triggered. ► Allow the lawn mower to cool down.
The blade is blocked.
The blade fastening screw is loose.
The blade is not correctly balanced.
The blade is blunt or worn.
The resistance at the blade is too
great.
17 Troubleshooting
Remedy
► Find and fix the cause of the circuit
breaker or RCD tripping. Insert the
circuit breaker (fuse) or residual cur‐
rent device.
► Switch other power consumers in
the same circuit off.
► Insert the plug of the extension
cable into a correctly fused socket,

► Use an extension cable with an ade‐
quate cable cross section,
► Use an extension cable with the cor‐
rect length,

► Clean the lawn mower,
► Allow the lawn mower to cool down.
► Set a higher cutting height,
► Switch the lawn mower on in lower
grass.
► Replace the fuse in the plug.
