5.4.5 If the 3,8 VDC at H650 pin2 is missing
Measure at N411 pin5 the 3,8VDC.

6 Capacity/ Charging problems

6.1
Type of fault
Do a visual check of the battery screws and the system connector of the phone.
Replace the faulty part if its necessary (use Mechanical Repair Instructions).
6.1.1 Charging indicator in the display all the time
Switch ON the phone.
If the charging indicator appear in the display, go to 6.1.4.
6.1.2 No charging indicator in the display
Connect a charger to the system connector of the phone.
Switch ON the phone.
If the charging indicator does not appear in the display and the red top indicator does not light
up, go to 6.1.5.
6.1.3 Charging indicator in the display, but the phone does not
Connect a charger to the system connector of the phone.
Switch ON the phone
If the charging indicator appear in the display and the red top indicator light up, but the
customer complain of charging his battery, go to 6.1.5.
6.1.4 Charging all the time
Disassemble the phone and check for liquid damage.
No further action should be taken for a liquid damaged telephone.

If it is correct, replaceH650.
If the level at H650 pin2 is low, replace C621.
If the level at H650 pin1 is low, replace C655.
If it still is missing, replace N411.
If there is 3,8VDC at N411 pin5, send the unit on according to the local company
directives.
