    As a second generation PCI Express* storage controller, the Intel Integrated RAID Module RMS2MH080 addresses the growing demand for increased data throughput and scalability requirements across entry level, midrange, and enterprise server platforms. The controller can be connected to up to eight drives directly and allows the use of expanders to connect to additional drives.

    ® The Intel Integrated RAID Module RMS2MH080 includes 512 MB of integrated DDR2 800 MHz ECC SDRAM memory. This DIMM is connected directly to the memory controller interface bus of the ROC and serves as storage for the executable code transferred from the flash.
