When screwing the DG screws into a precut thread:
•
Insert the screw in the hole and turn anticlockwise until it drops slightly into the hole.
•
Turn the screw clockwise and tighten to the specified torque.
This procedure ensures that the screw engages in the existing thread and does not cut a new thread.
As this would weaken the screw connection.
1) Secure screw with adhesive Loctite 242/243.
2) A washer must be fitted under the head of the screw.
Note: Screws secured with adhesive must be heated with hot air before they can be unscrewed.
Particular care must be exercised on plastic parts!
