9. Insert a new Wi-Fi card into the Wi-Fi card slot. Then, pivot the Wi-Fi card downward.
Note: Do not touch the notched edge of the Wi-Fi card.

10. Install the screw to secure the Wi-Fi card to the system board. Then, connect the Wi-Fi antenna cables
to the Wi-Fi card.

11. Reinstall the system board shield. See "Replacing the system board shield" on page 97.
12. Reinstall the Orchid Tilt Stand. See "Replacing the Orchid Tilt Stand" on page 92.
13. Reinstall the bottom cover. See "Replacing the bottom cover" on page 86.

Replacing the heat sink

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
To replace the heat sink, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the slide cover. See "Removing the slide cover" on page 85.
3. Remove the bottom cover. See "Replacing the bottom cover" on page 86.
4. Remove the Orchid Tilt Stand. See "Replacing the Orchid Tilt Stand" on page 92.
5. Remove the system board shield. See "Replacing the system board shield" on page 97.
