3. Remove the four screws at the rear of the chassis that secure the power supply.

Replacing the heat sink

This section provides instructions on how to replace the heat sink.

1. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 13.
2. Lay the computer on its side.
3. Locate the heat sink. See "Identifying parts on the system board" on page 9.
4. Disconnect the heat sink and the fan assembly cable from the system board.
5. Depending on which heat sink you are removing, do one of the following:
