Replacing The System Board Shield - Lenovo 10HU Hardware Maintenance Manual

1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the slide cover. See "Removing the slide cover" on page 85.
3. Remove the bottom cover. See "Replacing the bottom cover" on page 86.
4. Locate the Wi-Fi antennas. See "Computer components" on page 31.
5. Make a record of the cable routing and cable connection. Then, disconnect the Wi-Fi antenna cables
from the Wi-Fi card in the system board.
6. Detach the Wi-Fi antennas from the computer cover as shown.

7. Peel off the papers that protect the stickers on the new antennas.
8. Stick the antennas to the computer cover as shown. Then, insert the antenna cables through the
holes in the LCD panel.

9. Connect the Wi-Fi antenna cables to the new Wi-Fi card.
10. Reinstall the bottom cover. See "Replacing the bottom cover" on page 86.
