Hard drive
The 2.5 inch primary hard drive is installed on the right side of the computer on top of the optical disc drive

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Pull the hard drive latch away from the hard drive to release the drive (1).
6.
Slide the hard drive toward the edge of the computer and lift the hard drive out of the drive cage (2).
7.
Remove the four mounting screws from the 2.5 inch hard drive. Be sure to keep the screws together with
the blue rubber grommets to use to install a replacement drive.
To install a hard drive, reverse the disassembly instructions.
