FLOATATION
Rake Arm/Wheels
Floatation pressure of the rake wheels can be adjusted by adjusting the pressure rod assembly.
•
Hydraulically raise the rake beams so they are off the ground approximately 6".
•
Loosen the lock ring and turn the rod collar to show more threads. This increases the down pressure
of the rake wheels.
•
Showing fewer showing decreases the down pressure of the rake wheels.
•
Hand-tighten the lock ring once the proper adjustment has been made.
Rake Wheel
Rake wheel oscillation is achieved through the
wheel arm mount bolt with the slotted-style hole.
NOTE: Re-torque rake tooth bolts after
the first 100 acres to 40 ft./lbs. Check
periodically thereafter.
