Your Race Dash comes with a pre-initialised SD card ready to use. However, if you purchase a new SD card it must be initialised before it will work with the EDL8 race dash. This is done with the SD card initialization function of the Dash Manager software. -

The logger can be set to start logging whenever the selected channel data is higher than the Start Trigger Value. The logging will stop when the selected channel value is below the Stop Trigger value. -
